WRAP & RELEASE

PRIVACY

Overswing uses its own dedicated server (api.playoverswing.com, run by us and behind Cloudflare) for the leaderboard and Race mode. There are no accounts, no emails, and no third-party ads.

Data Collected During Gameplay:

• Random Player ID: Generated on your first visit and stored locally in your browser. It's never shown.
• Display Name: Starts as MONKEY- and four digits until you change it. Shown on the leaderboard and over your ghost.
• Country Flag: Determined automatically via Cloudflare. (Your IP address is never stored; only a salted hash is kept to prevent abuse.)
• Personal Bests & Ghosts: Your completion time, checkpoint splits, and replay input data (ghosts) for other players to race against.
• Run Data: Course, game mode, time/distance, checkpoints reached, and how the run ended (finished, restarted, or quit).
• System Info: Game version, browser, and OS (e.g., "Firefox on Windows"), sent once per session to ensure compatibility.

Data Retention & Controls:

• Retention: Run data and system info are kept for up to 12 months; leaderboard records remain for as long as the board exists.
• Opt-Out: Disable run data anytime via SETTINGS > GAMEPLAY > SHARE RUN DATA (your personal bests will still be submitted to the leaderboard).
• Reset or Delete: Clearing this site's data in your browser gives you a new Player ID (and clears your saved bests). To have your data removed, leave a comment below with your in-game name.
